By joining the BlaBlaCar Pro team, you will have the unique opportunity of joining a new vertical at BlaBlaCar and of helping us become the n°1 destination for road transport.
Within the Pro team, we are building the heart of our new technical platform dedicated to our bus transport partners. A brand-new ecosystem based on a service-oriented architecture that aims at helping worldwide bus companies to sell trips and manage their offers on our marketplace.
By joining our experimented and talented tech team, you’ll contribute to create services that operate under high-load, and to which many requirements are put forward, such as reliability and speed. Our goal is to bring developers closer to working services by providing them with convenient tools for testing, deploying and monitoring services.
What you will directly contribute to:
- Working in team of 3 engineers and Technical Leader in Kyiv and same time working on fair processes intensity with transversal DevOps/Security international in Paris;
- Extending current Infrastructure reliability and manageability;
- Automating deployment process in order to minimize human factor;
- Evangelizing reliability culture and share expertise to support service owners;
- Developing tools and observability to enhance developers ownership;
- Designing and building systems to automate away problems;
- Responding to, investigating and fixing service reliability and performance issues.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Experience with Ansible is a must
- Must have good proficiency in any of SW development technologies: NodeJS, Python, Go or C etc.
- Must have experience with CI/CD tools, for example Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Ability to listen to the others, be able to voice problems, be able to offer solutions, be able to justify proposals.
- Good verbal and written English skills
- Fluent in Russian or Ukrainian
At least one of the following requirements:
- Experience working with GCP, AWS or any equivalent Cloud platform.
- Experience working with Unix systems and a deep understanding of them, knowledge of network technologies;
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures development;
- Experience in implementing Terraform or developing K8s operators;
- Experience in implementing Security management
