Job Summary:

Conviva is looking for a driven Sales Operations Manager to join our high-impact, high-performing Sales Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Operations, this individual will provide critical operational support to the global sales organization and perform as an integral link between the Sales organization and other corporate support functions such as Finance, Legal, Solution Consulting, Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams.

What you get to do:

  • Assist with improving/refining existing sales operations policies and procedures
  • Focus on continuous process improvement and core projects through Salesforce automation and process enhancement. Communicate key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc, to groups within the sales and other groups. Work cross-functionally with the primary objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions
  • Develop a strong competency with Conviva product packaging and pricing
  • Act as a critical enabler of deal formation and execution, focusing on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and market share based on business priorities. Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoint and enforcement of standard business practices and policies
  • Assist with deal desk related activities including non-standard deal requests, structuring sophisticated deals, driving cross-functional and cross solution teamwork, and ensuring revenue recognition requirements are handled
  • Maintain metrics monitoring and processes to improve business visibility and consistency of practices across geographies
  • Assist as needed with building, maintaining, and improving Conviva data and reporting foundation
  • Support special business projects. Structure business problems, evaluate options, implement actionable recommendations, and track success
  • Maintain operational training materials and deliver new hire and ongoing sales training
  • Nurture internal relationships with all levels of the sales organization

What you bring to the role:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations with prior experience in a SaaS sales environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and other sales productivity tools (certified Salesforce Administrator highly preferred, experience with Salesforce CPQ, Aviso or other forecasting applications)
  • Passionate about data management and the importance of data integrity. Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Resourceful individual with a proven ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines. Ability to roll-up sleeves and in a hands-on management capacity
  • Tolerance for ambiguity, a high degree of flexibility, and follow-through along with a willingness to implement ideas from others is essential
  • A penchant for customer service, patience, and resourcefulness. A team player with a positive attitude
  • Adept in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
