We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team here at Greenhouse! 

As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will use your expertise to tangibly impact a growing SaaS business. Reporting directly to our Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing our entire procure to pay process. This is a great opportunity to use your accounting expertise and your operational experience to make a meaningful impact. We’re looking for someone who can not only own day-to-day expense accounting and reporting, but also think big picture and contribute to the evolution of Greenhouse’s finance function.

What you'll do

  • Oversee the entire procure to pay process from start to finish - process all payment requests, generate POs, match POs to invoices, code invoices, and generate vendor payment batches for approval
  • Capture accruals to ensure reporting of expenses in correct accounting period
  • Process all employee expense reimbursements in a timely manner
  • Define, implement and automate scalable process improvements

You should have

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Deep proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Degree in a financial field (Finance or Accounting), preferred
  • Familiarity with Netsuite, procure to pay software such as bill.com; expense reimbursement software such as Abacus, TeamPay a big plus
