We are looking for an Account Manager to focus on expanding our lighthouse technologies. These are our cutting edge innovations, Cloud and Edge-based solutions, speaking directly to the most topical Industry 4.0 trends. Experience selling Cloud or SAAS based enterprise software solutions is a significant advantage.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive new OSIsoft software products and services by calling on all existing and prospective customers in the defined territory                           
  • Build and execute account plans, incorporating fundamental enterprise software sales strategies to deliver accurate sales forecasts                      
  • Leverage OSIsoft global and local partner relationships that can positively influence the purchase of OSIsoft products and services                          
  • Use available internal resources available in marketing, technical support, and sales support effectively to meet individual sales goals                
  • Provide assistance to the OSIsoft sales team related to global accounts that may exist in the territory                  
  • Make written and verbal sales presentations addressing the business needs of the customer to propose technology-based solutions
  • Expedite resolution of key customer complaints and problems         
  • Provide sales mentoring/coaching for less experienced sales reps  
  • Develop and maintain a sufficient knowledge of the industries,  trends, and issues, to effectively align and apply OSIsoft’s  technologies to meet customer's business goals                     
  • Maintain personal knowledge and skill levels with OSIsoft products and sales support applications according to guidelines established by OSIsoft through recurrent annual training within the Company or designated external resources                                        


  • High level of fluency communicating in German

  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of five years in direct software sales required with a track record of sustained success OR minimum two years in inside sales role at OSIsoft
  • Able to articulate the business values of the PI infrastructure (i.e. not sell on feature/function but explain clearly).
  • Ability to know how to get the right information from the right people (both internal and external)                      
  • Ability to speak to all levels of an organization
