As Vice President of Marketing, you will lead the Marketing function at Thrive reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. You will be responsible for demand creation, loyalty, and creating integrated marketing programs that drive passion, awareness, demand and ultimately revenue. You will work cross functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Content and Customer Success to ensure there is alignment and consistency across all channels and work-streams. You are energized by analyzing and defining the market opportunity with an emphasis on quick action and experimentation to optimize the function. You are able to act both as a strong team team leader and independently. As VP, Marketing, you’ll have the opportunity to lead, operationalize and scale the team which ultimately impacts the way employees live and work around the world. 

Who You Are:

    • Experience leading the marketing organization of a successful enterprise technology start-up during a high-growth period.
    • Demonstrated record of personally producing marketing deliverables, go-to-market initiatives, sales tools and other marketing functions.
    • 10+ years experience working in a customer-facing roles with enterprise level clients.
    • High organizational intelligence about how enterprise clients typically buyEquipped with an exceptional ability to prioritize, manage time and anticipate needs.
    • Extremely sharp problem-solving skills.
    • Comfortable receiving and providing compassionately direct feedbackAbility to thrive in fast-paced environments and distill complex and ambiguous scenarios into their important and actionable elements.
    • Proven ability to operationalize processes, instill best practices, and ensure executional excellence within the team.
    • Ability to transform manual solutions into scalable systems.
    • Self-driven and highly accountable for delivering extraordinary outcomes.
    • Proven track record building a team and coaching/mentoring them to success.
    • An operational leader with an optimistic, problem-solving mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Enjoys leading and supporting others through ambiguity and change.
    • Passionate about changing how we work and live and a demonstrated interest in topics relating to Thrive Global’s mission, including well-being, productivity, neuroscience, psychology, managing technology, performance and wisdom


    • Lead the entire Marketing function at Thrive, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
    • Develop and manage the Company’s marketing budget.
    • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
    • Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with VP, Sales for lead tracking and management.
    • Oversee product marketing including market and customer research for market and product requirements, product launch management, product pricing, product sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.
    • Manage Thrive’s market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.
    • Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events collateral materials, analyst and market research management.
    • Build and implement website design, content and infrastructure either directly or on an outsourced basis.
    • Raise awareness and visibility of the company, company’s products and company’s technology.
    • Interface with product management including product planning and roadmap.
    • Interface with engineering for product development, product margins and product lifecycle management.
