About the Team:

The role reports to the Vice President of Finance and will manage a small but growing team. The role will drive cross-functional alignment with accounts, business support systems and department leadership across the organization. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and maintain a world class budget/forecast model that is highly accurate and smoothly incorporates marketing, procurement, hiring and revenue processes.

  • Create models to incorporate evolutions of the business in pricing, geography or revenue sources.

  • Create bulletproof reporting which provide actionable insights to leadership across the organization

  • Work with the executive team in enhancing board of director meeting materials and reporting 

  • Working with sales and revenue operations, develop variable compensation plans.

  • Lead efforts to drive automation and role specific dashboards

We’re looking for:

Our ideal candidate is a hands-on FP&A professional who embraces ambiguity and can work independently to solve problems. You will play a critical role in building a world-class FP&A function while partnering with accounting, legal, sales management and revenue operations. This role is focused on providing trusted, accurate and actionable insights while also working to implement processes with an emphasis on automation at scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to lead from the front, be a “doer” while also setting strategy and thinking big-picture

  • 8+ years of FP&A or related experience

  • Proven success in a senior FP&A role in a SaaS company that is well respected for excellence

  • FP&A modeling expert who will own the enterprise model and provide decision support on where the company is investing, short and long term.

  • Able to effectively engage all relevant members of the executive team to align financial management with short and long term financial planning and projections. Demonstrated success working across functional groups to achieve key operational goals that have financial implications.

  • Team with Senior Management to develop department specific budgeting procedures

  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting practices

  • BS in finance, accounting, or related field.  MBA preferred.

Where you’ll be working 

All our roles are remote in the U.S. unless otherwise specified.  Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area. Once we reopen our offices you will have the opportunity to remain fully remote (in the U.S.), work from one of our office locations (CO only currently) or flex your time.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role is $140,000-$175,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.  JumpCloud provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, short and long term disability, life insurance and 401k benefits.  We have an unlimited vacation policy.
