About Grammarly

Grammarly’s digital writing assistant helps more than 20 million people write more clearly and effectively every day. In building a product that scales across multiple platforms and devices, Grammarly works to empower users whenever and wherever they communicate.

Job Description

Grammarly is continuing to grow our team during the COVID-19 pandemic, conducting fully remote hiring and onboarding processes. All Grammarly team members can work remotely until August 2021. Read more about how we’re supporting our team and communities.

The opportunity

Grammarly empowers people to thrive and connect, whenever and wherever they communicate. Every day, 30 million people around the world use our AI-powered writing assistant. All of this begins with our team collaborating in a values-driven and learning-oriented environment.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Lifecycle Marketing team. This role will be responsible for the ongoing execution of email campaigns and programs, QA processes, reporting, and triaging internal requests, and will champion ideas to improve performance. In other words, this role will keep our team running efficiently and effectively.

Your impact

As Lifecycle Marketing Operations Specialist, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to learn lifecycle marketing and operation skills on a high-performing team that greatly impacts Grammarly’s business.

  • In the first few weeks, you’ll become deeply familiar with Grammarly’s product offerings, brand, and our existing email flows and processes.
  • By month three, you’ll take full ownership of campaign deployments (via Salesforce Marketing Cloud), weekly meetings with vendors, and reporting standards.
  • By month six, you’ll be a power user of our marketing toolset as well as our internal analytics platform, and you’ll have helped us run 3–5 experiments at scale.
  • By year one, you’ll have helped our team execute on dozens of projects with tactics that span multiple channels (email, push, and in-product notifications).

We’re looking for someone who

  • Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
  • Has experience effectively supporting email (or lifecycle) programs, is detail-oriented, and understands how to manage a project from start to finish.
  • Is both a creative and data-driven thinker who cares deeply about precise targeting as well as delightful, on-brand experiences.
  • Brings excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills and enjoys servicing internal requests.
  • Thrives on having autonomy and is gritty enough to solve challenging problems that could take multiple quarters to complete.

Support for you, professionally and personally

  • Professional growth: We hire people we trust, and we give team members autonomy to do their best work. We also support professional development with training, coaching, and regular feedback.
  • A connected team: Grammarly builds a product that helps people connect, and we apply this mindset to our own team. We have a highly collaborative culture supported by our EAGER values. We also take time to celebrate our colleagues and accomplishments with global, local, and team-specific events and programs.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Grammarly offers all team members competitive pay along with a benefits package that includes superior health care. We also offer ample and defined time off, catered lunches, gym and recreation stipends, admission discounts, and more.

At Grammarly, we value our differences, and we encourage all—especially those whose identities are traditionally underrepresented in tech organizations—to apply.
