We have an ambitious journey ahead of us and are looking for a product leader capable of operating at strategic, operational and tactical level. As a Product Management Director of the Community Relevance organization in Communities Product Group, you will be accountable for defining strategy and delivering impact across our worldwide communities growth efforts, ecosystem understanding and quality, product and content ranking, among other areas.
Product Management Director Responsibilities

Drive strategic direction, establish shared vision across the company by obtaining buy-in on critical priorities leading to product execution.

Lead the definition, development, and launch of initiatives to drive growth, quality and relevance of our community products and ecosystems.

Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, data scientists, researchers, and other functional experts.

Partner with a team of data scientists and researchers to deeply understand the communities ecosystem and define and analyze metrics that evaluate our trajectory and inform the success of our products.

Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver experiences that are recognized best in the industry.

Cultivate culture of executional excellence and analytical rigor.

Support, develop and grow a healthy product management organization.
Minimum Qualifications
-
10+ years of experience in product management and analytics.

Experience taking highly ambiguous problems and form a structured opinion on what we should do (if anything).

Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives.

Experience defining what resourcing is needed to achieve those goals and effectively advocate for that.

Experience managing and communicating effectively with executives.

Experience escalating quickly and effectively.

Experience and interest in contributing as an IC, including structuring strategy and execution (e.g. unblocking engineering teams).

Experience taking products and ideas from zero to one.

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications

Background and experience in product growth and/or ranking/ML field.
