Stella & Dot Family of Brands is looking for a Head of Design across Stella & Dot + Keep Collective who is a visionary design leader that brings creative expertise, inspiration, thought leadership, and strong design skills to the organization.  This person should be a strategic leader who can build out the vision and direction across Jewelry, Handbags and Apparel.
This is a key leadership role within the company, the right person will be responsible for concepting, design development for fashion categories for all channels reporting to the Chief Brand Officer and working closely with the Chief Creative Officer. This leader’s key partners within the organization are merchandising, product development/sourcing, and creative.
This individual should be a natural partner, strong collaborator and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. 


      • Manages the design process from conception through to final design across Jewelry, Handbags, and Apparel
      • Lead a high-performing Design team to create beautiful, compelling, brand-enhancing product.
      • Builds on the brand aesthetic and brand DNA.
      • Consistently and effectively communicate a product vision and strategy to the company, customers, and our Ambassadors.
      • Lead concept process and approve seasonal product strategy and direction.
      • Develop strong internal cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Sourcing, Planning & Marketing.
      • Keep team and cross functional partners on track to the milestone calendar
      • Partner with merchandising and creative to bring product to life during campaign shoots for seasonal flows
      • Sharing strategy and design ideas with our ambassadors in the field to inspire them to share and build out a customer base
      • Build robust competitive sweeps for product to ensure our fashion business pushing product and design innovation forward and relevant for our target customer
      • Work closely with upper management on the larger company strategy and vision as it relates to product.
    • Lead in person design presentations to cross functional teams and upper management


      • Minimum 12-15 years of product design/development experience with a strong record of people management and strategic leadership.
      • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience with minimum of 2 direct reports
      • Extensive experience in jewelry design and development.
      • Some experience in handbag and apparel design and development
      • Extensive experience spec’ing and building tech packaging across categories for product development
      • Experience managing Design teams and strong cross-functional relationships
      • Possess an elevated sense of style and an innate love of jewelry and fashion.
      • Strong history of how to translate trends through the lens of the customer and brand filter.
      • Strong presentation and influencing skills at the executive level
      • Strong connection to customer and sales teams
      • Excellent leadership and managerial skills, demonstrated by the ability to communicate a vision and inspire and motivate others to action.
    • Experience with managing a development calendar and improving process within an organization and team
