Title: Senior Product Designer

Overview:
Cleo is looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help define, drive, and build out all of our products. We’re looking for a cross-functional, cross-organizational team player who prioritizes action,  intention, and quality. As a Senior Product designer, you will have the opportunity to join the founding design team and build the future of the Cleo experience in the customer facing app and beyond. You will be an end-to-end designer, working with product and engineering teams to take ideas from concept and drive them through to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive strategic goals of the company through user-centric approaches and design thinking
    • Build and define the best modern app experience for Cleo
    • Influence product strategy and work with your team in executing high-quality solutions
    • Solve a range of product challenges across iOS and Android, on both mobile and web
    • Communicate your ideas and point of view about your work clearly across product teams
    • Work closely with cross-functional partners to paint a long-term, holistic vision of where our Cleo products should go, while also being strategic on how to iterate quickly in the short-term to meet goals
    • Be a leader and advocate for best design practices and process on the design team and across the organization as a whole

To be successful in this role you may have:

    • Experience leading product direction and strategy while developing product goals and identifying opportunities to improve user experience
    • Deep knowledge of information architecture, UX, UI, and interaction design concepts
    • An ability to create prototypes for mobile and responsive experiences
    • Strong visual design aesthetic, meticulous attention to detail, and a sense for visual hierarchy, balance, and composition.
    • Proficiency with modern tools and techniques for producing design assets and prototypes (Framer, Sketch, Flinto, Principle, Invision, Adobe CC suite, or similar)
    • Experience using research, qualitative and quantitative data while leaning on your intuition and experience to make important design and product decisions
    • Experience with building and utilizing style guides, design systems, and pattern libraries
    • The ability to think deeply through problems while proactively exploring and proposing various solutions
    • A firm, confident point of view on your work and strong communication skills to express your design thinking
    • Experience working on user-facing or service-enabled products
    • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-growing environment while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and composure
    • A hunger to learn and evolve – from leadership skills to design craft to process to industry and market trends, you never stop pushing into the next big challenge
    • Background in and/or passion for working in health services related to women’s health, maternity, or childcare
    • 6+ years in Product Design, preferably in user facing products or service enabled products
    • A polished design portfolio that focuses on product strategy, design thinking, and refined execution
We don’t believe in perfection – we believe in passion, interest, and will – so don’t let a lack of experience or skill in one area listed above deter you from applying.
