About Trouva

Trouva is building the destination for the best lifestyle products from the best independent boutiques. We’ve combined innovative technology, a great team, hundreds of the best bricks-and-mortar shops around, lots of hard work and huge ambitions to create a unique shopping experience. We are a curated marketplace where customers can purchase from our range of tens of thousands of distinctive homeware and lifestyle products which are fulfilled seamlessly from individual boutiques across the UK.

Our start-up is one of the most exciting e-commerce start-ups in Europe, backed by amazing VC and Angel Investors whose successes include Net-A-Porter, Farfetch and Secret Escapes (Octopus Investments, Playfair Capital & Index Ventures). Techcrunch recently did a feature on us if you want to have a watch.

We're growing fast and are looking for exceptional people to join us.

Job Description

We’re Trouva, the marketplace for independent curators and Europe’s top e-commerce startup (we’ve got the trophy to prove it). We are anti-chain and anti-same; we stand against the uniform and the ubiquitous. We exist to inspire, and we champion independence. Our vision? A thriving global community of curators united by their passion for unique products.

We are backed by some incredible VC backers whose successes include Dropbox, ASOS, Secret Escapes & Facebook (Octopus Ventures, Index Ventures, BGF & LocalGlobe), and Angel investors including current/former Directors of Farfetch, JustEat, Net-a-Porter, Google & Deliveroo.

We are proud to be a tech start-up building the offline to online platform for independent curation, handling inventory management, merchandising, AI-led recommendations, and logistics, to offer an even better service than the online giants.

We've recently been named the top UK startup in the Startups 100 list and are on the hunt to find exceptional talent who share our vision and can help us achieve our next level of growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Product Manager at Trouva, the challenges we work on are diverse: you’ll have the opportunity to work across products for our curator community, like inventory management and order processing, innovate on internal tools to change the way we run our business, but also creating an alternative shopping experience for the Trouva customer.

Beautiful products are the result of identifying the needs of the end-user (curators, customers, team) and joining forces across the whole company to get there. You’re inspired by thinking and trying out new processes to align the team with what we’re trying to achieve and getting things done. Although you’ll sit within the Product team, you’ll work collaboratively with all areas of the business to achieve our goals. You’ll be responsible for running product squads, and you’ll have the freedom to define the processes you use to do that.

Requirements

  • You are creative but more than being an innovation mastermind, you also have a strong analytical mindset. You are able to deal with data and convert data into problems, formulate solutions and execute the action plan.
  • You are platform agnostic and have a track record of successfully shipping web and mobile products.
  • You are able to go from high level product conceptualisation & strategising to hands-on execution. Ideally you have worked on a product from end to end - from conceptualisation to launching, and from launching to scaling.
  • The above mentioned requirements must be supported by 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or similar, in a relevant industry - e-commerce, marketplace or B2B2C internet company.

All in all, you are obsessed with building streamlined and transparent processes as well as creating world class products and extraordinary user experience. Show us that you strive for team efficiency and creating outstanding experience for your users and that our product is definitely inspiring you.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Macbook Pro and Bose Noise cancelling headphones as standard issue and other accessories such as monitor, keyboard and mice to suit your needs
  • A beautiful office space in Central Lisbon, with unlimited coffee, snacks and fresh fruit
  • Regular team events where we celebrate our success and people, including weekly meditation, and Pizza Friday's!
  • Unlimited staff discount on all Trouva products and a Trouva gift card to get something awesome for your desk
