Candidate Profile
We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our Ontario based team in London to take on a core role directly reporting to our Project Management Office.
The Project Manager takes ownership of the projects, coordinates the activities and the assigned resources, to provide the agreed deliverables with the expected quality, on-time, within scope and budget, always ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager is autonomous, a problem solver, and has excellent leadership skills to create a positive/constructive attitude within the team.
To successfully perform this task, the candidate must have proven working experience (minimum 3 years) in managing projects and negotiating both scope and deadlines with clients, (preferably in public
as well as private organizations).
Having delivered projects in challenging environments will be a decisive factor for the candidate selection.
We are looking for someone with projects experience, who possesses a solid technical background, to be applied in online voting systems configuration among others, and a great deal of experience in Project Management methodologies.
Responsibilities
The main point of contact for the assigned accounts, delivering support from the contract signature up to full delivery of the solution, providing an outstanding customer experience.
Take ownership of project planning and delivery in terms of finance, risk, human resources, communications, procurements.
Align and negotiate with internal departments, coordinate the activities with providers and external clients to ensure adequate development and delivery.
Manage project changes and new requests and incorporate them into the plan.
Report both horizontally and vertically on a timely basis.
Perform risk management to minimize project issues.
Requirements
Project Manager with 3 or more years of experience delivering critical projects in the public or private sector.
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent.
Customer-orientated. Excellent communication skills, good team worker with leadership skills who empowers the team.
Problem solver, autonomous with a constructive attitude.
Availability to travel on short notice.
Project Management certification (PMP) is highly valued.
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies will be a plus.
Proficiency in French is a strong bonus.
