Job Summary:
We are growing our unity development team that creates the foundation for Labster’s award-winning virtual science simulations that are used by millions of students and teachers across the world.
We are looking for an experienced C#/.Net developer that is passionate about good code quality and software design, to help us deliver a great user experience. This is your chance to join a purpose-driven, fun, and successful startup and shape its core product and technology
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build a highly scalable Unity-based platform to run thousand of scientific simulations reaching millions of students and teachers globally with a team of passionate professionals
Develop new features of Labster’s custom EDU XML language, in a consistent and backward compatible way.
Work as part of a diverse set of developers and domain experts to engineer cutting-edge solutions
Play a critical part in realizing Labster’s long-term grand vision of creating the world’s most popular online platform for building and playing high-quality immersive learning simulations
Collaborate with other developers to improve the quality of our solutions, review other developers’ code and contribute to the active developer community at Labster
Qualifications:
+3 years of experience with C# and .NET
Experience with Unity or similar engines
Strong team player working collaboratively, both in with your core team as well with your stakeholders
Knowledge of WPF or experience in creating and maintaining a domain-specific language is a big plus
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent education
Can-do attitude with a strong focus on delivering value through amazing 3D user experience
Lifelong learner, keen to learn new technologies and skills
You are an analytical thinker, with an eye for simple yet powerful solutions
Fully proficient in English
