About Duffel

We are making travel effortless.

Job Description

We are making travel effortless. Join us.
Whether it’s to visit the people closest to us, starting an exciting adventure, or a career-defining business trip, travel is an essential part of our lives. Yet we've all experienced the aches and pains of getting to our destination. Today, more than 4 billion airline passengers rely on technology that hasn't kept up with the expectations of the modern connected traveller.
That’s why we’ve started to rebuild the infrastructure that underpins the travel industry. We’re on a mission to unravel travel — simplifying systems and building the tools that will make the future of travel effortless.
We were part of Y Combinator S18's cohort and we are backed by Benchmark, Blossom, Index Ventures and Kima Ventures. A fantastic set of investors that has helped build some of the world's largest companies.
Our team in London is growing and we’re looking for talented people to join us on our journey.
Growth at Duffel
Growth is a new and innovative team at Duffel made up of designers, engineers, and marketers. We are on a mission to make selling flights as easy as buying flights, by creating a frictionless journey from a seller's first awareness of Duffel through to their first flight booking!
We interact with customers at all stages of the funnel - from brand awareness to acquisition to activation - and spend our time understanding their needs and rewiring our product and content to best meet those needs.
As the first content marketer and an early member of the Growth team, you will shape the future of the team and fully own the content strategy, building and executing on content marketing initiatives to drive growth through awareness, acquisition, and engagement.

What you'll achieve

    • Content marketing initiatives that drive website traffic, increase conversion and engagement, and deliver more leads
    • Create, own and manage our content calendar
    • Deliver effective and relevant content through collaboration with several teams
    • Build a targeted, cross-channel content strategy that aligns with our target markets and customers
    • Create shareable resources (e.g. customer case studies & infographics in collaboration with a designer) that can be shared with specific audiences for driving engagement and new leads
    • Leverage analytics to present ongoing campaign progress and iterative recommendations
    • Write engaging copy for the website, product, and marketing materials
    • Help shape the future of the content, marketing, and growth at Duffel

What we're looking for in you

    • 4-6 years experience in content marketing
    • You've demonstrated success in creating content while also building and owning a cross-channel content strategy through blogs, social, e-mail, and webinars (please include a link to your portfolio)
    • You have an editorial mindset and seek to deeply understand the audiences you're writing for and what makes it valuable
    • You're a writer with the ability to produce high-quality, grammatically correct copy that is engaging and fun
    • You're data-driven and have the ability to analyze campaign analytics and present performance findings to the team
    • You're a project manager who can track and understand priorities and focus on delivering results in the form of awareness, engagement, and new leads
    • You're experienced working through an end-to-end acquisition funnel from lead generation to onboarding
    • You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a small team

Nice to haves

    • You have previous experience independently managing a content function
    • You're comfortable creating content for a B2B technology company
    • You have previously written content for developers
    • You have experience with Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Figma, and social media (e.g. LinkedIn and Twitter).
What you can expect from us
We’re dedicated to your personal growth. Our environment is comfortable physically, but also in that our ears are always open to any ideas, concerns and questions.
