About Melio Payments

When we started Melio, we wanted to build more than an efficient Accounts Payable tool. We wanted to build a service that helps small businesses keep up with business. A B2B payments experience that not only saves time but also significantly improves cash flow. A payment workflow so simple it helps businesses focus on their customers, not their back office.

Job Description

We’re Melio, a TLV-based startup on a mission to keep small businesses in business. Our online payment solution enables small businesses in the US to pay their bills in more efficient ways that improve their finances and free them up to focus more on managing the business they love.

Backed by top-tier VCs, we have a unique approach to small business payments and aim to make B2B payments as simple and easy as peer-to-peer payment apps. We’re growing fast and looking for enthusiastic team players.

As a Payment Partnerships Manager you will be joining our Payments team and contribute to our company’s success. Your mission will be focused on leading commercial strategy and relationships with banks, processors, payment networks and other partners that support all of Melio’s products. In this role, you will sit at the center of our Payments team, supporting our product strategy by creating, leading, and executing critical business processes.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Work closely with our customers and partners to understand what they need, collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Legal to build compelling cutting-edge products and financial services of the highest quality, and partner with Growth, Sales, Customer Support, and Customer Success to launch and scale them.
  • Lead contractual efforts to ensure our operation is set up for success when a new payment partnership launches
  • Proactively monitor dashboards to ensure contract adherence, drive efficiency, and lead optimization projects to increase partner performance
  • Manage partnerships, including opportunity/deal pipeline, compliance request status, and reporting to management, etc

What We’d Love To See

  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience in successfully building and shipping payments / financial products and services at meaningful scale
  • Experience working in an ambiguous space and driving projects from ideation to launch
  • Knowledge of payment processing and systems
  • Comfort using data to evaluate hypotheses and to communicate ideas
  • Strong business aptitude – be comfortable defining strategy, identifying and modeling business opportunities, and crafting and executing on go-to-market plans.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about payments, has a track record of working collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, and other Operation teams to rapidly influence change in a high paced environment, and ability to manage various strategic partner relationships.

If you’re still nodding your head in agreement and this seems like a good fit, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re looking for you!
