The Senior Customer Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for handling the most strategic portfolio of customers at Galvanize which make up the highest percentage of the company’s annual recurring revenue. As the primary relationship owner for their portfolio of customers, the Sr. CAM is responsible for revenue growth and net retention of these customers in strong partnership with the designated Client Partner.  The Sr. CAM will act as the lead point of contact for all key matters within their portfolio and work cross-departmentally to ensure the needs of the customer are met to ensure adoption, ongoing renewals and future expansion.

Responsibilities

    • Developing a solid and trusting relationship across the strategic portfolio of customers and with senior-level decision makers within each portfolio account.
    • Developing a strong, on-going relationship and alignment with designated Client Partner, resulting mutual success.
    • Drive client retention, subscription renewals, upsells and customer satisfaction
    • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to drive customer goals and key performance metrics to guarantee success
    • Manage customer activity with CRM for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open issues
    • Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insight
    • Develop and execute account plans with Client Partner and other internal teams

What you need to succeed

    • Experience in quota-carrying sales role at SaaS vendor
    • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business including senior-level decision makers
    • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
    • Demonstrated history of consistently overachieving performance target
    • Practical knowledge and mastery of enterprise sales methodologies
    • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
    • Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
    • Experience working with a CRM system (Salesforce.com preferred)
