Job Summary:

        In the role of Senior Engineering Manager, you will work on building a highly-scalable and extensible SaaS enabled Conversational Platform with smart client apps. This position requires background in software engineering, technical and people management. The successful candidate will be technically managing multiple scrum teams which works on cutting edge technologies on Google cloud platform.

 

Required Education & Experience:

  • BS / MS, preferably in CS / IT from a reputed institution, with strong foundations in Computer Science
  • 13+ yrs. of over all experience including seasoned hands-on, Software Product Development Manager who has experience in  managing a technical team in fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a team of seasoned Software Engineers is a must.
  • Recent experience in cloud development like AWS or Azure or Google Cloud.

 

Technical Requirement:

  • Solid CS Fundamentals. (Data Structures, Algorithms, OS, Databases)
  • Decent experience in Core Java and Micro services Architecture. 
  • Experience in Building Large Scale Distributed Applications Or Large-Scale Internet Systems (Cloud Computing)
  • Distributed systems tool kit (Micro-services architecture, implementing caching mechanisms & message queuing technique)
  • Should have good exposure on Low level designing (LLD/HLD)) / System designing.
  • Good knowledge of Cloud like GCP / AWS / Azure.
  • Exposure of any No-SQL Database like Mongo / Cassandra / CouchBase / CouchDB  ..
  • Must be solution oriented along execution mind-set.
  • Technologically savvy with excellent communication abilities is a must.
  • Proven Track Record of Achieving Objectives on Schedule, On Budget, And Within Quality Targets.
  • Good to have experience working in UI technologies such as React, Redux
  • Good to have experience in developing high-performance distributed systems.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environment.
  • Exposure To Open Source Technologies Is A Plus.
  • Should have strong Technical Depth & breadth.
  • Good attitude, Analytical skill
  • Ability to weigh the pros and cons of different designs and select the most optimal one is a must.
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud enabled services and applications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the successful candidate will be reporting to the Director of Engineering and will work closely with the Architect, Engineering team, Product Management, UX/UI, and Customer support teams in Agile environment for the success of SaaS Enabled Conversational Platform software product of [24]7.ai
  • Should be willing to review the architecture, design, code, test strategy and test cases to provide right direction to the team.
  • Must be willing to perform hands-on role to solve complex problems.
  • Shall be responsible for coming up with efficient plan to deliver features and provide efficient product support by setting the right priorities.
  • Attracting, retaining and building top notch full stack engineering talent;
  • Be a mentor, technical leader and thought leader for a talented team of both front end and back end engineers, challenging them and helping them grow;
  • Set and achieve challenging goals and build trust and influence across teams.
  • Drive execution for product roadmap. Manage engineering and operational project/program teams in the design, test and deployment of new infrastructure projects, products, and/or features.
  • Ensure new technologies are employed productively in operations by planning their release, working with internal customers on adoption, as well as identifying and resolving problems throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Responsible for production support activities for all products and components owned by the squad.
  • A proven track record of working closely with cross functional teams like Product Management & other teams by understanding the priorities.
