POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Analyst will be working in the Production Scheduling department and will be responsible for analyzing production data to develop and track metrics and milestones. Additionally, this position will identify and implement process improvements in order to lower costs, maximize efficiency, and improve on time order completion.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily data review and reconciliation
- Identify areas of improvement in business procedures
- Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for the department
- Evaluate and report production metrics
- Establish and record operational achievements
- Gather information to analyze yield and throughput
- Prepare charts, graphs, and presentations for a variety of audiences
- Identify and evaluate material requirements
- Support additional tasks within the Scheduling Department as required
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A data driven analytical approach to influence decision making
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments and with different management levels.
- Highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment who can prioritize according to current work demands
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and Expert excel experience with ability to create, manipulate, and compile data from many different areas
- Hands-on approach to data gathering and analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities to meet deadlines
- Possess high flexibility with respect to job functions and working hours
- 5+ years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing factory
- Experience with Production Planning and Production Modeling is a must
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in related field or five years of operations/production analysis experience
