Rollbar is used by some of the best engineering teams in the world, including Twilio, Salesforce, Zendesk, and Twitch.
We are looking for an energetic Communications Manager to join our growing team and play a critical role in amplifying Rollbar’s story. In this role, you will be responsible for Rollbar’s corporate communications programs with a focus on press relations, analyst relations and social media. You will help shape Rollbar’s media and analyst strategy, work closely with our PR agency to bring media opportunities to life, manage end-to-end execution of media and analyst opportunities, and write press releases, thought leadership content, and executive bylines.
This is an ideal position for someone who has a passion for working with media, loves pulling the pitch out of any story, and excitement for evangelizing great technology.
You will:
- Be a key internal partner to our PR agency, manage media and analyst relations, and create measurable PR and AR plans that support business goals
- Drive editorial calendar and create engaging stories, thought leadership and news that advance Rollbar’s narrative
- Work with Rollbar executives to represent their voice and ideas in thought leadership and byline opportunities
- Identify publications, conferences, and content which can help move the needle on awareness
- Create thoughtful content including press releases, Q&As, and contributed articles - collaborating with marketing team members and executives
- End-to-end execution of incoming media opportunities
- Manage Rollbar’s social media program from strategy through execution, including writing social media posts and customer engagement
You have:
- 4+ years tech PR agency + in-house experience
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and writing/editorial skills
- Ability to distill complex ideas and content into clear and compelling stories
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to stay on top of multiple projects and programs, managing everything from strategy to detail
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced working environment
- Developed and maintain strong internal and external relationships at all levels
- Enthusiastic problem solver who can improvise and think creatively
- Not afraid to experiment with unorthodox ideas to engage audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or related field
