Position Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity to support the rapid growth of the Ecommerce business at Kendra Scott! This high-profile position is based in our Home Office in Austin, TX and will report to our Sr. Director of Ecommerce Experience. Our Web Analyst will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the overall ecommerce experience and monitoring the overall performance of the business. This role combines the need to analyze data effectively with presenting findings and recommendations persuasively to key partners.
Responsibilities:
• Utilizing Google Analytics and other web analytics tools to understand website performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve website performance and sharing opportunities with Product Managers and UX.
• Partnering closely with Product Managers and UX to track KPIs before and after website changes in order to assess impact of changes. The Web Analyst will be responsible for recommending what information should be tracked for new features and working closely with Product Managers and Development to ensure that features are set-up in a way that will enable recommended tracking.
• Partnering with web analytics agency to ensuring that current tagging is set-up as intended.
• Using clickstream, user behavior, and conversion patterns to identify potential issues in near real time and aid pro-active issue resolution with tech partners
• Developing and maintaining dashboards that allow ongoing monitoring of Ecommerce KPIs.
• Training other team members on how to use Google Analytics to answer key business questions.
• Support on-site A/B testing strategies as required.
• Keeping up to date with Web Analytics and Digital Measurement best practices, announcements, and industry research
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Marketing or a quantitative field like Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
• 3-5 years of experience working in Web Analytics for a direct-to-consumer ecommerce company.
• Strong understanding of how website tagging and data layer impact clickstream data available for analytics. 1+ years of experience influencing clickstream data collected required.
• 1+ years of experience working with Google Analytics preferred.
• Strong point of view on what KPIs a fast-growing ecommerce business should be tracking.
• Proven ability to apply findings to business problems to lift revenue and profits.
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery and reprioritize based on evolving business needs
• A strong ability to build cross functional partnerships and work collaboratively
