We are seeking a Senior Java Software Developer. As a Senior Developer, your guidance and input drive architecture and functionality decisions. Our ideal candidate will be excited to work on features on our Bevis as well as the supporting backend. We are a fast-growing hardware startup, but it’s our software that makes a Bevi magical. What you will do:
- Play a mission-critical role in defining, designing, implementing and shipping new features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, architect, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Focus on innovating and managing complexity of solutions that add value and amaze the end user
- Leverage modern architectural patterns, third-party libraries to deliver new features.
- Contribute to code quality and maintainability by writing unit and integration tests
- Enforce code styles and best practices via code reviews and mentorship
