As Solutions Consultant (East Coast), you will participate in pre-sales work through partnership with LeanData’s sales team. Solutions Consultants are instrumental in the sales cycle, bringing credibility from an industry and technical perspective. In this role, you will work alongside our sales partners to win over LeanData’s most strategic accounts, mapping business outcomes to LeanData solutions, consulting with customers, and validating LeanData products across the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with our sales team to discover potential business opportunities with target prospects and customers
- Through research and discovery, understand prospects' go-to-market strategies across the customer revenue lifecycle including marketing, sales, customer success, and IT to determine value drivers and areas of optimization by using LeanData solutions
- Use storytelling skills to paint a picture of a future state that helps prospects and customers achieve their GTM revenue goals
- Work with champions and technology-owners at top accounts to understand the total impact and value of LeanData across their marketing and sales technology stack
- Immerse yourself and become an expert in LeanData products, integrated technologies, and the general technology landscape across the customer revenue lifecycle
- Leverage your industry knowledge across a broad array of verticals and segments while working with talented colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Build your knowledge and skill set in value-based, solution selling
- Be a critical member of the sales process; a leader, coach, and a trusted advisor for LeanData employees, prospects, and customers
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience (2-4 years) in a similar customer-facing role
- Excellent business and technical presentation skills, communication (oral & written), and relationship-building skills across all levels of management
- Deep understanding of sales and marketing processes including marketing automation, lead assignment, ABM, funnel optimization, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and first-hand knowledge of marketing and sales operations teams
- Demonstrated interest in technology, including comfort with technical concepts and an ability to become a subject matter expert with new technology applications
- Ambitious and self-motivated with a high emotional IQ
Bonus points if you have:
- RFP and/or proposal writing skills experience preferred
- Experience with Management Consulting (Big 4 or similar)
- Experience with Revenue Operations
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
