About the role:

The Director of Accounts, Germany will be responsible for managing Germany’s fast-growing customer portfolio in the tens of millions of dollars consisting of Enterprise, MidCap and SME shippers. Reporting to the local General Manager, they will be managing a team of Expansion Account Executives, together with whom they are accountable for increasing revenue, improving profitability, embedding sennder technology, and building long-lasting relationships with our shippers. The ideal candidate has experience in Sales and Account Management, and has a proven track-record of leading high-performing teams of at least 25 people. They enjoy managing complex internal and external stakeholder environments including the C-suite, and are obsessed with delivering customer value through innovative logistics technology.

What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for growing and servicing our existing account portfolio in Germany
  • Manage a team of talented Expansion Account Executives
  • Crunch data, build reports and identify trends to effectively manage your team’s performance 
  • Support the development of strategic account plans
  • Oversee the Expansion Sales lifecycle, and support your team in growing same store revenue
  • Distill customer’s pain points into product features and operations capabilities 
  • Collaborate with Operations, Carrier Management, and Product to deliver high quality service
  • Interact with Director+ counterparts of Dax 200 customers in Germany 

What you'll need:

  • English and German speaking (business fluent) a must
  • 6+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, General Management or Operations
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics 
  • Proven track-record of managing large teams including senior talent and managing managers
  • Some exposure and/or experience in B2C/B2B marketplaces a plus
  • Experience selling into or partnering with large, complex enterprise a big plus
