Job Description

We’re WhiteHat. A tech start up on a mission to create an outstanding alternative to university. By delivering training in partnership with world-class content providers, through a combination of 1:1 coaching a vibrant and supportive apprentice community and cutting-edge tech, we offer apprenticeships that genuinely rival the learning experience at elite universities.

We raised a $16m Series A round last year, led by some of the world’s leading investors (including Index Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures). We were also listed as one of LinkedIn’s top startups and a Forbes ‘Ones to watch’ for 2020. We want to build an iconic company that becomes one of the great European businesses of our generation.

Building a pioneering community offer and experience for all of our apprentices is critical to the success of the business. The WhiteHat Community is a diverse network of 2,000+ apprentices and alumni. Through their membership of the Community, they have access to a host of opportunities designed to support their growth and achieving their goals, and connecting with other members to build their personal and professional network.

  • Develop and coordinate programs and projects that are designed to foster alumni engagement and success
  • Develop and facilitate programs and projects that are designed to strengthen alumni’s feeling of connection to the WhiteHat community
  • Continuously assess the impact and ROI of alumni efforts, in support of developing priorities for future initiatives
  • Be the “voice of alumni” within WhiteHat; advocate to ensure that the alumni voice is represented and considered in company planning
  • Serve as the primary initial point-of-contact for WhiteHat alumni
  • Maintain strong relationships with our alumni community and help facilitate introductions between network members to add value,
  • Design and execute communications to support, inform and engage the alumni community

What you bring

  • 5 years+ relevant experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting with strong relationship management and program management responsibilities
  • Skills to be an exceptional relationship builder, communicator and have strong project management skills
  • Passion to create a world-class and inclusive alumni member experience and evangelical advocates for apprenticeships and WhiteHat
  • A creative approach to problem solving at scale
  • An analytical mindset and comfort with using data to inform decisions
  • Experience successfully listening to a community through user research
  • Experience in using marketing automation platforms (Mailchimp, Dotmailer, Iterable etc) and building data-driven CRM campaigns
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively - this role will work closely with individuals across the business and the right candidate will be experienced and comfortable collaborating in remote and in-person environments
