About Lessonly

Lessonly is powerfully simple training software that helps teams learn, practice, and do better work. We enable busy teams to get on the same page, stay ahead of change, and deliver amazing experiences to customers and prospects.

Job Description

Due to Covid-19 for the safety of our team and communities the Lessonly team is working remote.

We prefer this position be in Indianapolis, IN, but would consider it a remote position from any of the following states: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Alabama, Texas, Virginia or Washington.

At Lessonly, we aren’t just looking for candidates. We’re looking for someone who understands design and wants to learn above all else. We’re seeking a new addition to our growing team who can fill the role of Graphic Designer.

You will work with other members of the Lessonly marketing team—and with leaders of other departments—to conceive, design, and implement brand and marketing deliverables including, but not limited to, identity, icons, illustrations, ebooks, web pages, and more. The ideal designer will possess a refined aesthetic, be open to constructive feedback, and be driven to produce designs at a fast pace.

What you need to excel at this amazing role:

  • Obsess over our culture (product and people)
  • Passion for design
  • Understand the marketing tech stack

A list of job experiences and qualification requirements are great, but what is most important to us is humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach. We love to have fun and win in the process. We only hire people who have a passion for building great companies in an environment where a sense of humor is a must. And in order to be successful in this role, we are also looking for someone who will:

  • Be involved in every part of the marketing strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives through product, sales, client experience, and services.
  • Work with the brand team to take our design to the next level.
  • Have creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.
  • Strive to continuously and rapidly improve their craft.
  • Present and explain design ideas with confidence.
  • Collaborate. Collaborate. Collaborate!

  • A thoughtfully-presented portfolio that demonstrates: a refined aesthetic, the ability to think conceptually, and developed problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Self-directed, but also great at collaborating across disciplines and teams, including giving and receiving thoughtful feedback on creative work.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven sensitivity toward a clearly defined audience.
  • Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • Authentic interest in marketing and technology, with a belief that strong design translates to tangible business results.
  • A proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software. Specifically, a working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator are required. InDesign, HTML, and CSS are a plus.
