Job Description

You will be responsible for the planning and execution strategy that results in increasing product adoption and stickiness, widening the list of customer advocates, and thereby positively influencing the Net Retention Rate (NRR). This role will require you to work closely with our success and product teams.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Laying the foundation for a long-term customer marketing framework at Chargebee. Framework to include identifying ways to convert more customers into advocates, managing existing advocates, conceptualizing and executing product adoption or upsell campaigns
  • Building, developing, and managing a team of marketers to build and run customer marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding current internal and industry-wide benchmarks for adoption and setting the right KPIs for measuring success
  • Executing and measuring the impact of initiatives such as (but not limited to) user conferences, case studies, customer webinars, email campaigns, etc.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of marketing experience in the B2B space
  • Worked as a customer marketer with the mandate to reduce churn, drive case studies, and/or participate in up-sell campaigns
  • Excellent command over the language and flair of copy-writing when it comes to email communication, landing pages, and case studies
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles to bring out impactful stories about how they use and find value through products/services.
  • Prior experience in hiring and leading at least 2 people.
