POSSITION SUMMARY
 
This position will play a critical role in providing meaningful financial and operational metrics leading to insightful and data driven business decisions. You will partner with various parts of the organization to understand and identify key business issues and provide strategic, financial and analytical support to the leadership team and will be involved with the Company’s P&L forecasting/reporting processes, monthly close processes, quarterly reporting requirements, and sales commission calculations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain and improve detailed financial model that tracks and analyzes revenue and its drivers as well as functional costs and their impact on the Company’s overall performance
    • Support the quarterly/annual budgeting and planning process, as well as long range strategic planning
    • Prepare monthly/quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysis
    • Work with business partners to provide operational analysis and reporting and to drive improvements to operating expense efficiency and forecasting
    • Own preparation and administration of sales compensation documents; calculate monthly sales commissions; share results and provide analytics around commissions
    • Play a key role in compiling and reviewing Company’s key metrics dashboard with a focus on aligning the format/content with our evolving business model
    • Identify areas of improvement in process and tools, making recommendations, and drive implementation

ABOUT YOU

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics 2-4 years of FP&A experience, ideally at a SaaS company with a recurring revenue model (Investment banking or Big 4 accounting experience is a plus)
    • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills (e.g. you will have built complex three statement financial models that include key business drivers and are able to make recommendations based on the results of your analysis)
    • Comfortable working with Excel, Google Docs, Netsuite and Salesforce
    • Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Can translate financial analysis into indicators for operational change and improvement
    • Have a positive attitude and great communication skills
