Job Description

Benevity is actively seeking a detail-oriented, persuasive, and driven-to-win Proposals Coordinator to play a supporting role in continuing our rocket-paced growth. In this role, you will assist Benevity’s Proposals Lead and Sales Team in creating winning proposals to our prospective clients, including responding to RFPs and RFIs. If 100% isn’t good enough, this is the job for you. You will help clients discover how Benevity can help them make an impact as the leading global supplier of workplace giving, volunteering and corporate granting management software solutions. You’re a “get it done” kind of person, with stellar writing, organizational and multi-tasking skills. What you will do:

Assist cross-functional teams to support sales objectives for RFPs, including, but not limited to:

  • Work alongside Proposals Lead & Sales Rep to identify our “winning” selling strategy/determining client needs and how best to position Benevity’s solution to demonstrate the fit
  • Assisting with management of project timelines and multiple deliverables in fast-paced environment
  • Completing RFP questionnaires and gathering inputs from subject matter experts across various parts of the business
  • Assist with the organization and updates of Benevity’s content library (and associated documents and assets) to ensure that we are able to execute RFPs efficiently, drawing on what has garnered success in the past
  • Assisting with procurement requirements where necessary, including reviewing and/or submitting online sourcing/vendor portal applications as required by the client
  • Using your highly developed writing and editing skills to co-ordinate and craft impeccable outputs, positioning Benevity for success
  • Delivering all outputs on time and on brand without fail
  • Work with Marketing & Product Marketing teams as needed to perfect content, ensuring deliverables are always up to date and on brand
  • Create and deliver RFP supplemental documents such as product summaries, executive summaries, follow up documents and other custom sales assets


What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Keynote a strong asset
  • Proven interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional internal teams, as well as external prospect contacts.
  • Proven written/spoken communication skills; self-starter, paying attention to detail while being able to effectively carry out multiple ongoing projects
  • Excellent reading comprehension and ability to communicate key messages in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent organizational skills including co-ordinating multiple deliverables to meet quality requirements and strict deadlines
  • Sales background and mindset: client-focused and goal-oriented, focused on assessing client needs and finding mutually beneficial solutions
  • Strong multi-tasker who thrives on multiple projects and tasks in a fun, fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience working with Salesforce, or equivalent CRM
  • Product marketing or other advocacy or positioning/messaging background an asset
  • Experience working with procurement sourcing sites a plus (e.g. Ariba)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality and continuous process improvement
