Overview of Team
The B2B Account management team looks after Zego’s fleet customers from the moment they sign up for a policy throughout their insurance lifecycle. We help them get set up, understand how the policy works, advise them on how to improve performance so that they can get the best price at renewal and eventually lead the negotiation and closing of renewals every year with our current customers. The team is a mix of creative problem solvers, process-orientated planners, custom-centric and commercially minded account managers. Our goal is to retain and grow customers whilst giving them the insight and tools to perform at their best; we do that by working as a team, taking the wheel to solve problems and continuously pushing for progress.
Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Director of B2B, you will be responsible for delivering the monthly targets for current business, running smooth processes for existing customers and ensuring we renew our customers at the end of their policy each year. You will also have to play a key role with our broker partners who are at the forefront with our customers. Your ability in growing, developing and retaining people will be a key asset in this role.
What you will be working on
Coaching and managing our amazing team of Account managers and executives
Achieving and encouraging the team to achieve growth within policy and retention at the end of policy
Ensuring that Zego maintains a high quality experience for customers and brokers through the products and services we offer.
Work with internal teams to ensure our account team is equipped with the tools needed to ensure our customers’ processes are being run effectively and efficiently
Implementing strategies to help customers continuously improve performance
Working closely with your counterparts in Marketing, Client Operations and Sales to deliver the best experience to our customers and performance to the business
Delivering on our company OKRs
What you will need to be successful
You truly enjoy managing and nurturing team members - and have previous experience of having done so
You have proven experience in client and account management, managing a range of customer types from C-suite clients to small business owners.
You are very commercially minded with a good grasp of growth levers and experience in negotiating commercials
You have strong numerical and analytical capabilities allowing you to understand complex performance metrics (e.g.loss ratio’s) and deliver relevant performance analysis for current customers
Nurturing our Top Tier customers and broker partners, supporting the team to run QBRs and key negotiation meetings
