Candidate Qualifications
- Licensed physician in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
- Candidate Must be BE/BC
- Certifications as required by hospital by-laws (e.g. ACLS, ATLS, PALS, etc.)
Candidate Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessment and appropriately manage patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Performs procedures as trained and appropriately credentialed
- Complete accurate and timely progress notes and admission/transfer orders
- Educates patient on disease and treatment plans
ABOUT THE HOSPITAL
Doctors Community Hospital is a 200 bed community hospital. It has 48 ED beds. The ED currently sees over 62,000 annual visits. Located just outside of DC Doctors Community Hospital offers a great location. The hospital is a stroke center and does have a cardiac cath lab. The ED uses EPIC for its EMR.
