Your Mission


The PR and Communications Associate position is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving technology startup and take ownership for crafting, enhancing, and maintaining a favorable public image for KUDO in various external contexts.


Reporting to the VP of Marketing and CEO, this role will lead the strategy and external representation of KUDO as a brand and product. In this role, you will strengthen our awareness and relationships with the media as well as in other marketing mediums. Responsibilities include drafting press releases, pitching success stories, and identifying other opportunities to connect KUDO with various communication outlets. The successful candidate will have a strong acumen for brand identity, public relations, and also have outstanding abilities as a written and verbal communicator with exceptional presentation abilities.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Act as the global spokesperson and communications liaison between KUDO and media outlets and other external organizations
  • Collaborate with our VP of Marketing and leadership team to identify latest trends and opportunities to enhance KUDO’s global visibility
  • Respond to information release inquiries from the media
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and other communication sources
  • Craft and update publications, including press releases, newsletters and help update our Web content
  • Participate in webinars and events where KUDO brand and image is present
  • Support with Investor Relations activities




  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in the field required
  • Ability to creatively articulate stories, messaging, and press releases that drive interest and attract media coverage in both traditional and contemporary digital mediums
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • History of building and maintaining relationships with media and communications industries
  • Ability to pitch, present and act as the company spokesperson to various media outlets
  • An acumen for powerful and compelling consumer and brand marketing
  • Hands-on working experience with social media platforms
  • Lead PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet brand objectives
  • Demonstrate creative and strategic thinking
  • Ability to thrive and improvise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
