About the Role

The Purchase Finance Product team strives to identify and solve impactful user needs in our products that deliver the best experience and delight our customers. We are responsible for the Patient & Education Financing application process, and deeply understanding our internal and external customers to effectively execute on the product roadmap that delivers high business value.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with and learn from a committed, talented group of product managers, designers, engineers, researchers, risk/data analysts, and others to achieve the goals you set for yourself and your team 

  • Be responsible for the e2e customer experience: help lead customers through the loan application process as quickly and painlessly as possible.  

  • Deeply understand the metrics for which you, our team, and the company are responsible for by leveraging and expanding instrumentation framework; strive towards meeting those metrics. 

  • Talk with our customers and learn about them. Know the market and our competitors. Use that information to come up with ways to improve the user experience and prioritize new features.  

  • Inform the product roadmap, maintain the product backlog, and ruthlessly prioritize this backlog.  

  • Lead key projects from concept through planning to development, launch, and post-launch support; ultimately leading to customer success.  

  • You are a critical stakeholder to internal partners on the short-term direction of product work and upcoming feature releases, communicating that information as needed.  

  • Act as the product owner for an Agile scrum team; partner with engineering to ensure team delivery and accountability. 

  • Act with a sense of urgency and intellectual curiosity. 

About You

  • A minimum 3 years of software product management experience 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

  • In-depth experience in at least one of the following areas: 

  • UI / UX – heavy website products. Website funnel conversion optimization 
  • FinTech product management 
  • Deep customer focus and experience with researching and determining customer needs 

  • Comfortable working closely with Engineering and experience with Agile development 

  • High energy, can-do attitude with willingness to do what it takes to get things done 

  • Strong organization and planning skills. Ability to maintain multiple projects without compromising results 

  • You have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders 

  • You are self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
