Job Description

Egnyte is looking for a Director of Business Development to lead Egnyte’s efforts in one of its premier target segments: Architecture, Engineering and Construction, an industry where we already serve thousands of customers. Reporting to the VP of Platform and Ecosystem the Director will be Egnyte’s in-house expert on the industry and will lead a broad set of initiatives to grow Egnyte’s presence and revenue in the construction industry.

This role is ideal for someone who worked as a senior member of the IT team at a large GC or specialty contractor, or for someone with industry experience who has worked for a construction industry focused SaaS vendor.

What You’ll Do (but is not limited to)

  • Grow Egnyte’s existing alliances with key industry vendors, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Autodesk to drive revenue growth for both parties.
  • Identify new and emerging technology vendors in the US and around the world and recruit them to Egnyte’s industry leading partner program.
  • Guide Egnyte’s product organization on industry specific feature development and product direction, based on close interaction with Egnyte’s AEC customers and your deep understanding of industry use cases and trends.
  • Evangelize for Egnyte at industry events to raise market awareness for our offerings, and cement our position as an industry leader.

Your Qualifications 

  • Deep expertise in AEC technology, use cases and trends
  • Track record of successfully negotiating complex and innovative business deals
  • Proven ability to take strategic initiatives from idea to partner engagement to market success
  • Demonstrated success at growing an existing business relationship, at scale
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • MBA a plus
