Job Description

Dremio is the Data Lake Engine company. Our mission is to reshape the world of analytics to deliver on the promise of data with a fundamentally new architecture, purpose-built for the exploding trend towards cloud data lake storage such as AWS S3 and Microsoft ADLS. We dramatically reduce and even eliminate the need for the complex and expensive workarounds that have been in use for decades, such as data warehouses (whether on-premise or cloud-native), structural data prep, ETL, cubes, and extracts. We do this by enabling lightning-fast queries directly against data lake storage, combined with full self-service for data users and full governance and control for IT. The results for enterprises are extremely compelling: 100X faster time to insight; 10X greater efficiency; zero data copies; and game-changing simplicity. And equally compelling is the market opportunity for Dremio, as we are well on our way to disrupting a $25BN+ market.

Customer Success is a critical part of our company,  and a customer centric mindset is part of every decision we make.  We’re looking for exceptional technical Customer Success Managers who will be the main point of contact for our customers, who will quarterback the overall engagement, while building exceptional relationships with each customer and becoming a subject matter expert with our product and space. Your success will drive the success of our customers, and in turn will result in incredible retention and growth.

Responsibilities 

  • Own the overall health and success of our customers, which includes onboarding, adoption, ensuring value realization, and retention.
  • Together with key stakeholders, establish business and technical goals, and work with our customers to achieve these goals.
  • Become a trusted and strategic advisor with each assigned customer, drive best practices and innovation.
  • Work closely with our sales team to drive expansions and new opportunities that are based on, and are the results of, the success of the customer.
  • Be the customer advocate internally, and communicate and help prioritize customer needs.
  • Act as the voice of the customer: communicate and help prioritize customer needs, and share feedback from the field with the product team to improve our product.

Requirements 

  • Please note- this role requires strong technical knowledge in software, with strong preference to knowledge in our space. This is a strict requirement. 
  • BA/BS degree in CS or Computer Engineering-related field- a must.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience and  3+ years of experience in Customer Success or equivalent role focused on increasing customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Industry experience and technical understanding related to the data analytics industry, and/or hands-on experience using analytics technologies.
  • Good understanding and experience supporting cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity working with enterprise customers, as well as SMB.
  • Excellent  written and verbal communication skills.
