L&D Specialist/Process Trainer: Job Role
Location: Baruipur
Summary: Responsible for developing domain knowledge, client process knowledge, and hands-on tools expertise among iMerit’s Delivery workforce and ensuring successful delivery of client projects, meeting or exceeding productivity and quality SLAs. The work may span projects involving data annotation for Computer Vision (CV), Content & Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications, as per business needs.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Client Instruction Analysis: Perform deep analysis of client instructions to identify gaps and clarification points, analyze production data to detect edge cases, collaborate with client to ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Training Needs Analysis: Identify training needs of Delivery personnel in a project through various means, for example: conduct assessments and analyze errors, provide production support and analyze queries/ errors/ improvement areas, perform quality check on production work.
- Training: Develop an effective training plan to cover client instructions and tool knowledge, create engaging training content, deliver training physically or virtually, measure training effectiveness through pre- and post- training assessments as well as improvements in production performance.
- Assessments: Design assessments that provide coverage and deep exploration of client instructions and edge cases, conduct assessments at regular frequency, analyze assessment responses to identify areas of poor understanding and plan corrective action.
- Production Support: Provide effective production support, resolve queries related to process or tool, analyze queries and production work to identify areas for refresher training.
- Continuous Learning: Continuously enhance domain knowledge and hands-on tool capabilities, facilitation skills, training content design skills.

Trainer Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science/Commerce/Humanities.
- At least 5+ years of industry experience, and at least 3+ years of L&D experience as a trainer, in IT-enabled process environment and exposure to overseas/cross-cultural client setup.
- Professional certifications relevant to L&D, IT, Content Development and relevant domains would be an added advantage.
