Job Description

Arris Composites is seeking a Technical Program Manager with extensive production equipment (manufacturing, automation, testing) experience. You will be responsible for driving all aspects of strategic and tactical elements to drive delivery of production equipment that supports production.

As our Technical Program Manager, You Will:

  • Bridge between product and production to map product request to production requirements/capabilities
  • Set up production request processes
  • Keep track of all production and product development requests and statuses
  • Plan and schedule resources for production development and operations
  • Highlight development/operations risk, identify solutions, and drive issues to closure
  • Create execution plans (schedule, resources, risks, milestones) to fulfill developmental and operational needs
  • Own and drive execution of production development and operations
  • Bridge between engineering and production to drive development
  • Work with Validation and Production to execute equipment, product tests and validation plans, respectively
  • Bridge between the Automation team and the Operations team to ensure operations can support customer demands
  • Drive line bring up activities and hand off to Operations
  • Project manage vendors to deliver equipment development requirements

Who You Are:

  • An organized and effective project manager
  • Experienced in vendor development and quality management
  • Meticulous and have extremely high standards and problem solving skills
  • 5+ years experience in 
    • cosmetic and high strength/performance/volume components
    • production and test equipment development and deployment
    • production line development and bring up for mass production
  • BS Engineering
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS Engineering
  • Mandarin, both written and verbal

Location

This position is in Berkeley, CA. It’s within walking distance to Amtrak, ~1.5 miles from BART, and ~1 mile from the Marina Ferry (direct from SF Ferry Building).
