About Pleo

Smart credit cards for your business. No more expense reports, no more out-of-pocket spending. Power to your people.

Job Description

Cash is old school. Out of pocket expenses suck. Workplaces need to be more trusting, progressive and – that's right, we're gonna say it – fun.

And that's what we're here to do. But we need your help!

Pleo is looking for hands-on sales professionals to join our amazing sales team and help us to make it the next level!

But wait...what is Pleo again?!

We are a Danish FinTech company on a mission to be the go-to spending solution for forward-thinking teams everywhere. Voted Nordic start up of the year 2019 and projected to be a unicorn, we are on a fantastic journey and we need you to take our sales efforts to the next level.

Today we have a 220+ team, from over 44 nations, sitting in our Copenhagen HQ, London, Stockholm, Madrid or Berlin offices – and also full-time remotes.

What’s up to me?

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to define and own a global approach to sales enablement in a fast paced scale-up environment.

As a member of the Sales team, you will define strategy, planning and engage with the whole Sales org to create value that increases the productivity and effectiveness of our 50 (and growing) person sales team. You will work proactively with senior management to identify business challenges, prioritize these challenges, define the scope and approach for the solution and execute those activities. You will be responsible for leading and driving the execution and continuous improvement of the Sales program. This position reports to the VP of Sales, Sara.

What does this really mean?

You will:

  • Work alongside Sales, Leadership, Marketing and Sales Operations to establish Sales enablement priorities and development plans.
  • Be deeply integrated with our sales team.
  • Own the lifecycle of sales learnings from running our Sales Bootcamp, implementing measures to impact the ramp time and quota attainment, and running continuous assessments and programs to impact our sales competencies
  • Aid in coaching and mentoring
  • Drive adoption and execution of agreed upon best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement tools and testing to granularly track Sales Rep grasp of subject matter and deliver regular performance results to leadership.
  • Conduct periodic interviews with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation and operating plans.
  • Work closely with leadership to plan impactful Sales events and trainings

What we need from you to be successful in this role:

  • 4+ years of experience leading commercial programs
  • Experience supporting a global sales team (preferred)
  • Professional background in Sales roles and with sales funnel fluency
  • Experience with Sales Operations, Methodology, Coaching, CRM
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills

Show me the benefits!

  • Your own spot in our amazing London offices shared with our cool UK team. You can also work from Copenhagen, but we prefer London.
  • Travel and work with our regional sales teams in Berlin, Stockholm and Madrid, London and Copenhagen.
  • Flexible work: working from home when you want, where you want, why you want to (we trust you)
  • Continual learning & development opportunities
  • Team camps around the world - remotes flown in (around once a quarter) for team building and learning (hurry up and apply already so we can bring you to the next one)
  • Catered lunch

And here are some other nice gestures that we do

  • 25 days holidays (annual)
  • Loads of weird and wonderful niche communities to join in the company (we're talking guerrilla gardening, liquids tasting, the Pleo band, learning to code initiatives, that type of thing)
  • A totally pain-free remote working/working from home policy
  • Wild enthusiasm and encouragement from us if you want to host MeetUps, events, etc - we'll help (venue, food etc)

Working at Pleo means you're working on something very exciting: the future of work. Through fintech we've seen a way to impact how people work; we think company spending should be delegated to all employees and teams, that it should be as automated as possible, and that it should drive a culture of responsible spending.

Being HQ'd out of Copenhagen means we're inspired by sensible things like a good work-life balance. If you don't work in the office with us we'll help you get up the best remote set up possible, and will fly you in once a quarter for team camps.
