About the Job:
 
We’re looking for a motivated, high achieving person to help us develop and report on KPIs, analyze data, create marketing materials, and support key executives in development of strategies and related materials. You will be responsible for helping us tell the story of Ossium – both internally and externally – through metrics, decks, one pagers, and other materials. You’ll get an unparalleled view into the inner workings of Ossium as you help develop go-to-market strategies, own products’ financial models, develop materials (e.g., whitepapers, presentations) based on market research and product strategy, and assist on various projects across many of Ossium’s verticals. The Strategy Lead will work closely with internal teams to drive market awareness, enthusiasm, and revenue growth across Ossium’s cellular therapy products as well as create materials for trade shows, conferences, and recruiting. You will report directly to the CEO. 

Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in life science, business, or a related field. A familiarity with basic biology is preferred
    • At least 2 years of experience in management consulting is preferred
    • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, business development, or analytics, preferably in a life science company
    • Strong sense of ownership and excellent project management skills
    • Robust problem-solving skills – such as the ability to apply logical frameworks and data-driven insights to ambiguous situations – are critical
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including making and delivering presentations, synthesizing findings, and drafting external communications and internal reports. Strong MS PowerPoint skills required
    • Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to value market opportunities, navigate financial models, and analyze and interpret statistical data. Strong Excel skills required
    • Comfort with the large variety of unpredictable tasks common at a start-up
    • Capability to operate with a high level of organization and excellent time management in a startup environment is necessary
    • Must show rigorous attention to detail in work product

Responsibilities

    • Create, track, and report on KPIs across the company
    • Develop a keen understanding of product-market fit for multiple product lines through data analysis and market research and clearly communicate findings to executive team
    • Work at the intersection of product, data analysis, and marketing to ensure Ossium understands business opportunities and new products reach the correct audience
    • Prepare decks for Board of Directors meetings each quarter
    • Developing a product strategy that balances internal capabilities with customer needs
    • Produce materials that contribute to the development of the company’s brand and image
    • Assist with projects throughout the company as needed, including finance, business development, recruiting, clinical research, and others
    • Provide general leverage and support to the CEO and executive team, including managing a broad range of internal and external facing projects as required in a startup environment
