Shift/Hours: M-F, 7:00am-4:00pm

Role Description:

The People Operation Generalist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR practices at the Bethlehem fulfillment center. They will develop, implement, and maintain human resources policies, procedures, and forms; support department managers and employees regarding personnel issues; and maintain personnel records in accordance with organizational/ regulatory requirements. The role will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.

 What You'll Do:

  • Maintain a smooth onboarding process for new employees (approvals, new hire paperwork, E-Verify, H1B)
  • Maintain a consistent offboarding process (approvals, paperwork)
  • Offer consultation, facilitation, and resolution strategies for employees on workplace issues
  • Employee Relations, Conflict Management, Conflict Resolution
  • Drive recruiting for non-exempt positions (recruit, schedule interviews, host job fairs, engage community)
  • Track employee attendance and manage disciplinary write-ups
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure the company is in regulatory guidelines
  • Administer periodic employee satisfaction surveys and compile results as scheduled by the company
  • Encourage and participate in community involvement
  • Assist in open enrollment
  • Manage employee leaves of absence, worker’s compensation, and unemployment claims
  • Provide training and resources to the onsite Leadership team
  • Embody ShipBob's core values and drive company culture
  • Other duties as assigned


What You'll Bring To The Table:

  • BA in Human Resources or Business-related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Generalist experience
  • Bilingual is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in both a manufacturing (operations) and office setting environment
  • SPHR/PHR, SHRM credentials preferred
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR practices
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, highly energized, and open environment
  • Must have stellar interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction at times
