Job Description

Our mission at AMBOSS is to improve global health by empowering all doctors to apply the latest medical knowledge in their daily practice. Our product combines cutting-edge technology with always up to date medical research.

We are looking for a Physician Strategy Consultant to join our team who provides us with first hand clinical experiences. You will be responsible for content and language in our marketing materials as well as for providing our product managers and research teams with valuable insights into patient care.

As an ideal candidate, you’ll have completed your residency training or have a minimum of 3 years of previous clinical experience. You are reflective of your profession and are able to make unconscious behaviors conscious and explicit (e.g. what is going on in a physician's head when seeing a patient for the first time). You’re passionate about writing and identifying innovative and empathetic ways to engage with doctors. Ultimately, you will be our internal go-to-person to make sure we speak the same language as our users.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Use and share your medical expertise to be a trusted partner for the commercial, product management and research team
  • Review current marketing messaging and product language from a physician's perspective and give recommendations
  • Review surveys and interview guides, give early feedback regarding MVPs and review early designs
  • Actively engage with users to identify and analyse new industry and market trends and report those to the team (e.g. online course formats, use of social media channels such as TikTok/Twitter/Telegram)
  • Stay updated, e.g. through engaging in social listening on different platforms online and offline

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • A minimum of three years of experience as a physician, ideally with a specialist title
  • Native English speaker
  • Excellent abstraction skills, e.g. being able to segment patient encounters and extracting the essence of a behavior/way of thinking
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Well-informed, enthusiastic about learning new things, actively involved in the medical community and eager to share knowledge with others
  • Business-minded and able to tie product enhancement, marketing messages and new initiatives to business value
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
