About The Role
We launched G2 Track to help companies track and manage all of the software and cloud services their teams are paying for. Initial feedback from the tech community has been overwhelmingly positive and Track is already being used by 1,500+ companies with a total of $20 billion USD in annualized spend - including over $1.5 billion in software.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the founding product and engineering leaders, responsible for ideating and executing on our platform roadmap with a focus on delivering integrations that form the core part of Track’s data fabric. You’ll work on defining new API integrations and optimizing existing ones, and play full-spectrum PM in terms ensuring that the new integration-driven data and features create a valuable product experience for our customers. You’ll be at the center of action, interfacing with engineering, data, design, sales and customer success teams, and will be a key product owner.
Responsibilities
- Own strategy and delivery for our financial ERP and accounting integrations platform
- Define new integrations with goals, spec and data flows, incl. PoCs that test API endpoint consumption
- Project manage the delivery of integrations, interfacing with engineering and implementation teams
- Obsess over the integration experience, refining feedback and analysis into actionable product improvements
- Ensure that our integrations are future-proof, investing enough design time to build diagnostics to track any changes in third-party APIs and how these affect our customers
- Communicate the integrations platform roadmap and possible changes to stakeholders and customers in a timely manner
- Propose and implement fast PoC and lightweight experiments to maximize our understanding of third-party APIs before investing heavily
Requirements
- 2-4 years experience building software products, with some experience working with financial systems
- Good foundational knowledge of accounting strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with a tendency to prefer data over instinct
- Ability and experience working with technical teams, any development, requirement analysis or PM experience around APIs is a plus
- Engineering background mandatory, you will be expected to get hands-on with code and data
- Good SQL skills are a plus
