Job Description

Zendrive is executing rapidly on its mission of “making all ground transportation safer using data and analytics” and is focused on building products to support the evolution of transportation.
Zendrive is looking for a Business Development Representative to play a key role as we build our sales and marketing engine to support our fast-growing business. Your primary focus will be outbound calling and email efforts to marketing-qualified leads to identify net new accounts, opportunities, and revenue. 
Through great communication you will work to establish the credibility of Zendrive and our brand and make our platform top of mind for our prospective customers. You will also coordinate closely with the rest of the organization to support prospecting activities for priority accounts to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities for the team. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a high-energy, positive phone presence, and a track record of effective, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization.


    • Build and refine a list of target accounts in key market segments 
    • Develop and own a robust outbound engine by creating a cohesive outreach plan
    • Run Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to nurture and qualify new and existing leads 
    • Work closely with the product and content marketing team to craft personalized messaging
    • Report on the performance of all campaigns on a regular basis 
    • Design a weekly outreach plan for SDRs based on the key qualification criteria, with the goal of creating opportunities and converting existing opportunities into leads
    • Research accounts to understand the needs of our customers, enable effective follow up, and generate interest
    • Work closely with the rest of the team to update the business development playbook each quarter


    • 3-4 years in a business development role within a SaaS company. Mobile, Telematics, experience a plus
    • Strong understanding of the enterprise SaaS market
    • Team player with player-coach mentality
    • Can-do approach with autonomy over work cadence and relentless persistence to follow-up with your targets
    • Ambitious and accountable for SMART monthly and quarterly goals 
    • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
    • Meticulous organization and time management skills
    • Bachelor's degree
