Job Description

The People Operations Coordinator for Madison Reed will play a key role in the administration and execution of benefits as well as  play a key ownership role in multiple aspects of the employee lifecycle including onboarding. The People Operations Coordinator will possess excellent people, HR generalist, organizational, and critical thinking skills. The People Operations Coordinator will possess the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks and excel working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment. The People Operations Coordinator will work with detailed & highly confidential information, making a high level of accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness imperative. The People Operations Coordinator must lead with the employee experience, while ensuring foundational HR practices and the business stay at the forefront. 

What you will do...

  • Lead employee lifecycle administration from onboarding, payroll issue resolution, benefits administration, status changes and offboarding. 
  • Perform tasks related to the administration of benefit, wellness, and leave of absence programs.
  • Assist employees with benefit related questions.
  • Perform virtual and onsite onboarding activities for new hires, Including set up of systems, processing of onboarding checklists and other various onboarding tasks.
  • Assist employees with questions related to policies and procedures.
  • Administer benefit programs in compliance with all Federal and State laws.
  • Manage and implement benefit communications and education sessions as needed.
  • Confidential and accurate processing/data entry of employee data into Paylocity.
  • Conduct audits of HR-related data using various systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports, monthly reports, and dashboards. Analyze HR data sets as requested.
  • Perform data updates, exports, and imports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need...

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR administration or as an HR generalist.
  • High School Graduate or Bachelor's Degree a plus.
  • Possess strong verbal/written communication, time management, organization, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to multi-task in a growing fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or G-suite (Excel or Google Sheets) required. 
  • Paylocity software experience is a plus. 
  • Possess understanding of basic human resource principles, practices and procedures.
