We seek a talented Sales Account Executive to leverage their enterprise sales skills and technical domain knowledge to expand Skytap’s client base – specifically focused on Skytap on Azure, the newest Azure native offering for IBM Power. This position will work with the next frontier of virtualized, bleeding edge technology and enterprise level clients, solve big business problems with a team that truly values innovation, engage deeply across the Azure eco-system and be part of a growing company in which your contributions can make a big impact.

Skytap on Azure makes it easy to build, run, and evolve these hybrid applications by rapidly migrating traditional workloads to the Azure, enabling modern development practices, and integrating new cloud architectures. Skytap on Azure accelerates application development, simplifies management, and reduces IT costs, enabling hundreds of customers worldwide to modernize at the pace of their business and take advantage of cloud economics, dynamic response and democratization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and sell to the APAC geographic territory across all verticals
- Individually and in partnership with Azure and industry partnes, prospect, develop, and close prospects for Skytap on Azure
- Create and deliver accurate forecasts for metered and recurring revenue
- Deliver compelling Skytap on Azure presentations, Business Value Assessments, and business proposals to executives including C-Level
- Make our customers successful!
Ideal Candidate:
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Current knowledge and experience navigating and succeeding across APAC
- Proven history of consistently exceeding target sales goals
- Demonstrable experience selling enterprise cloud, virtualization and DevOps technologies
- Experience landing customers fast in an Azure and expanding revenue over time
- 10+ years’ experience selling software to enterprise level clients
- Domain knowledge around cloud, cloud technologies, Solutions as a Service, Software as a Service, etc.
- Current knowledge and relationship with the various Azure eco-system a huge plus
- Ability to work closely with a technical team, managing POCs and technical evaluations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Motivation to excel driven by high earning potential and equity
