Equip is a virtual, collaborative-care eating disorder clinic enabling everyone with an eating disorder to recover in their own home, at a lower cost to their families and insurers. Our comprehensive approach combines evidence-based treatment with the wisdom of people who’ve been there. Equip supports each patient with a dedicated, multidisciplinary clinical team, providing best-in-class coordinated medical and behavioral treatment, enhanced with patient and family peer support, through our secure telehealth platform. Patients and their families get a dedicated five-person care teams that includes a dietician, physician, therapist, and mentors who deliver care via telehealth video sessions and between-session messaging. Equip's proprietary technology continually tracks outcomes and individualizes our treatment plans to ensure patients enter full recovery and are equipped with skills to prevent relapse. About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Admissions Manager with outstanding communication and relationship skills, love of data and spreadsheets, and a positive, can-do attitude to join our growing team.  This position will be focused on growing our Admissions team that will serve as the front door for families seeking care with Equip and collaborating with Operations, Marketing, and Clinical leaders to execute on our business development goals.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about evidence-based care, enjoy building and leading a team, be comfortable collaborating with a wide range of professionals, enjoy data and spreadsheets, and be a curious, creative, and optimistic individual.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Build an Admissions Team, including recruitment and hiring of several Admissions Clinicians and Admissions Assistants
  • Create a training and supervision program for the Admissions Team
  • Quarterback day-to-day Admissions including fielding inquiries, coordinating with insurance and medical, collaborating with referring providers, and efficiently admitting families into Equip.
  • Accountable for collection and presentation of Admissions data to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Directors of Marketing, Training, Operations, and Clinical to set and deliver KPIs
  • Effectively manage a growing team to deliver outstanding care to families
  • Create and foster referral relationships
  • Partner with Director of Client Operations, Chief Clinical Officer, and Product team to develop program dashboards and outcome reports
  • Identify areas of opportunity to grow, scale, and optimize Equip program delivery

Job requirements

Required Experience and/or skills:

  • Experience and enjoyment of building and managing a team
  • 3+ years experience working in mental health admissions
  • Superior interpersonal skills, adept at building strong working relationships
  • Key analytical abilities to collect, analyze, and use Admissions data to learn and improve 
  • Strong understanding of health care landscape
  • Excitement at the prospect to build the playbooks and then execute on them
