Yalo Director of Finance's objective is to provide guidelines, policies, and reinforcement on accounting, budgeting, and cash flow, as well as provide the information needed to make decisions based on the financial reality of the company.
This person will be responsible for the planning and resource allocation of the company and financial planning and legal management
What a Director of Finance and Admin will do on a daily or weekly basis?
- Manage company cash flow
- Prepare company financial statements monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annually, as needed
- Analyze and interpret financial data and present the information with reports and presentations to the board of directors and executive director
- Use data analysis to strategically forecast financial trends
- Establish internal work processes for the financial department (including accounting and billing) and monitor their progress
- Direct the day-to-day, weekly, monthly, and annual activities of the accounting function including Account Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Payroll, and Expense Reports.
- Ensure all the financial obligations in all the Countries of operations such as Business Tax, Use Tax, Sales Tax, Payroll Tax are paid by the accounting team
- Oversee internal/external audits and file a variety of reports with regulatory agencies
- Manage internal and external teams (controllers and legal counselors) to ensure operations run smoothly
How do we see the perfect candidate?
- 10+ years of senior financial role in multi-national
- Running financial and legal strategy in different regions and countries
- Experience implementing accounting and finance software
- 5+ experience in technology business (B2B saas is a plus)
- Thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and understand the associated challenges (Scaling companies)
- Track record of building and developing/coaching strong teams
- Experience developing corporate strategy
- Financial consolidation under US GAAP, with multinational companies.
