Coda Payments was founded in 2011 to make it easier for customers in Southeast Asia to transact online. Coda's flagship offering is Codapay, an alternative payment service provider that enables digital content providers to accept payments in Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan, Cambodia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., and Egypt using payment channels that every consumer can use, even if they don't have a credit or debit card. ‚Äč Coda also operates Codashop, where we sell Google Play gift codes, Steam Wallet codes, and other products to consumers. Coda also distributes gift codes in bulk to corporate clients.

What we do
Coda Payments ( helps Google, Tencent, and other leading digital content providers monetise their products in places where credit and debit cards aren’t widely used. We establish partnerships with a wide range of alternative payment channel operators who make it possible for customers to pay in other ways: paying cash at retail, using a mobile wallet, making a bank transfer, or redeeming a prepaid card.

As a part of the growing Analytics & BI team, you will work on marketing analytics projects, and cater to all analytics needs of our marketing team. You will be helping the marketing team understand user behaviour across different publishers and markets, and will deliver actionable insights to increase retention rates, using advanced analytics.


    • Develop a strong understanding of Coda’s users and their behaviour over the entire user lifecycle.
    • Understand the different marketing data sources we have, and come up with data-driven ways to translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives. For example, set up a customer latency model to understand repeat customer purchases, and translate the results into a campaign.
    • Set up dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Chartio & Google data studio to track retention rates
    • Optimize the current advanced analytics setup (RFM scoring, attribution modelling etc) for better ROI and granularity on what is working well and what is not.
    • Become a web analytics expert as you work with the digital marketing team, and understand the various facets around it.
    • Communicate results and insights clearly to a non-technical audience, and become the Analytics subject matter expert for Codashop Marketing.


    • Bachelors and / or Masters in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or at least 3 years of full time experience in business analytics or data science roles.
    • Working knowledge of advanced analytics for marketing; web analytics knowledge (GTM, js tracking, social media marketing analytics etc) would be a plus.
    • Excellent SQL & scripting skills (Python / R), with experience working across different data warehouses and crunching numbers from millions of rows of data.
    • Ability to take ownership of marketing analytics projects and work independently. Our marketing team is an amazing group of people with a keen data driven mindset. To be able to automate these analyses will be nice to have.
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
