The mission for the Senior Manager, Talent Operations is to bring a highly effective operations-, metrics- and process-driven approach to our Talent Acquisition efforts.
As a key member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, the person in this role will own and project manage the innovation, introduction and effective adoption of tools, processes, metrics, systems and data analytics that will enable hiring success across the organization. You’ll bring a strong point of view about world class recruiting, in order to continuously improve the way we source, interview and hire incredible talent. We’ve grown from 200 people in 2019 to over 600 in 2020, and we’re not slowing down anytime soon!
You’ll partner closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition to support the success and development of a high-energy, cohesive TA team charged with building Curology’s talented teams (across almost every vertical) at scale. This role reports to the VP, People & Culture, and will manage the Talent Operations Team including Curology’s talented TA Coordinators.

What You'll Do

    • Lead the core operational processes for the Talent Acquisition team and ensure we achieve hiring success by building and delivering processes, tools and systems to support the recruiting team, hiring managers, and interviewers across Curology
    • Design and implement a system of metrics and analytics to guide shared understanding and continuous improvement around talent pipelines, funnel and hiring KPI’s.
    • Advance the use of recruiting and hiring analytics to position the recruiting team and business to make informed decisions as we grow
    • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to define, measure and refine success metrics for sourcing, hiring and interview processes team by team
    • Continuously invite and integrate feedback from hiring managers, candidates and team members 
    • Develop and refine a scalable capacity planning model covering sourcers, recruiters, coordinators, interviewer pool, facilities and tools
    • Partner with Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging to ensure TA operations reflect and support Inclusion Recruiting strategies
    • Build and manage a successful team of recruiting coordinators, and continuously refine our coordination processes to ensure world class candidate experience
    • Own and oversee vendor relationships and systems strategy, ensuring existing and future resources are effectively leveraged and administered
    • Achieve higher levels of business impact and improve performance metrics by leading continuous process improvement initiatives
    • Partner with the recruiting leadership team and own operational and strategic planning, budgeting, program investments, headcount and resource allocation models across all functional areas
    • Operate programs such as internal referrals, requisition planning and more

What We're Looking For

    • Significant experience in Talent Acquisition, including experience leading recruitment operations or similar operational role
    • Experience developing and implementing operational systems, processes and capabilities to support successful scaling in a high-growth organization, ideally in a later stage, venture-backed startup
    • Experience building, revising, and scaling recruiting processes in a rapidly growing global organization
    • Background in business operations and/or analytics a plus
    • Strong analytical skills and proven experience developing and refining recruiting-related reporting and analytics
    • Strong project management skills and operational rigor, with the ability to translate vision into actionHigh level of ownership, organization, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a penchant for documentation
    • Ability to manage ambiguity and complex problem-solving, emerging with strategic plans and deliverables
    • Excellent cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management
    • Experience with scaled organizational change efforts
    • Power user of recruiting systems including Lever and TopFunnel a plus

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
