This position includes managing and executing SEO strategy, auditing and optimizing current content and efforts to drive effectiveness (conversion rates) and efficiency (reduce cost per acquisition), and outlining the necessary steps to meet aggressive growth targets all while keeping pace with SEO trends and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as subject matter expert for SEO including execution requirements, effective positioning, and competitive landscapes.
  • Build scalable and actionable SEO strategies that drive demand and can be tied to pipeline creation and revenue.
  • Work with teammates to create and execute a strategic keyword research and analysis process in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations from analysis with the intention of driving performance-based change on the website.
  • Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific.
  • Work with teammates to develop and implement link building campaigns.
  • Work with teammates to implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools, etc.)
  • Conduct competitive research for demand generation and campaign development purposes utilizing industry tools including SEMrush, Compete, and Google Webmasters.
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings.
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies.
  • Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualification

    

  • 1+ years’ experience in digital campaign management and channel analysis with a focus on search engine optimization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • You’re an analytical thinker. You like to make decisions based on data (from sources like Google Analytics, Marketing Automation Platforms, and CRMs) and can provide examples of how you’ve used data in the past to drive predictable, repeatable & scalable growth from marketing campaigns, A/B testing design and analysis
  • You think outside the box and have experience building productive cross-functional relationships and collaborating to identify opportunities for grow

Preferred Education, Skills, and Qualification

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot highly preferred
  • Experience managing campaigns in a B2B setting with a track record of innovation and marketing experimentation highly preferred
  • Experience working in an agency is highly preferred
