Job Description
We are looking for a Software Team Lead to join our R&D Department in Tel-Aviv.
As a Software TL you will be leading a team of BE engineers, responsible for designing and building the new architecture of Redis Labs Management platform. You will be responsible for research of new technologies and integrating them into Redis Labs’ platform. You will recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead a set of highly skilled developers supporting more than 300,000 DBs on our service and providing solutions to the world’s largest companies.
Our ideal candidate is a strong individual with vast experience in large-scale web applications, based on microservices architecture, who is involved across the entire product lifecycle, from planning to design and implementation, has strong leadership skills, and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of BE developers working on a large scale, distributed system
- Lead the research of new technologies and integrate them into Redis Labs’ platform
- Lead the effort to improve the performance and stability of our codebase
- Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, Architects, and other R&D teams
- Drive the technology roadmap and timeline
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Strong leadership skills with ability to build, execute, and own the team’s success and improvements
- Experience with microservices architectural challenges
- Extensive knowledge of SQL-based databases
- Experience with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, FluxCD
- High code standard and passion about new technologies
Advantages:
- Experience with NoSQL data stores such as ELK and Redis
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.)
